Photographing crystal glass ornaments and splashing wine (coloured water) in studio
After our monthly theme of ‘creative glass’, members wanted to see how some of the images were shot. A workshop was set up for the demonstrations by Wing and John Conway. Members participation was encouraged. Jo, Sheila and André brought in their ornaments to practise with.
Wing recreated the dragon shot using four coloured gel lights. Jo photographed her crystal pyramid prisms, Sheila photographed her chrome statue, and André photographed his crystal basket.
John C created his ‘wine (coloured water) throwing’ using the same setup he had previously done at home. Everyone took turns in throwing the coloured water in the air to see if they have the same technique as John C.
